Richard M. Wiener

For over 30 years, Richard M. Wiener has been fighting the good fight for his clients, challenging corporations, insurance companies, police departments, and other powerful entities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and elsewhere. He has dedicated his career to helping victims of traffic crashes, dangerous properties, medical malpractice, police misconduct, and other wrongdoing, making sure his clients get their best shot at full compensation for their injuries and losses.

A New Jersey native, Rich received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. After graduating from law school, he served a one-year judicial clerkship with the Hon. Melvin S. Whitken in the Superior Court of Union County, NJ, and then began what has become a three decade career as a trial attorney with offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Rich has handled more than a hundred jury trials, arbitrated hundreds more, and settled thousands of cases on his clients' behalf. His track record as a litigator is proven not just by the results obtains for his clients but by the many referrals he gets from current and former clients as well as from other attorneys.

Rich's personable manner, professional determination, and meticulous preparation puts clients at ease, inspires trust in jurors, and lets insurance adjusters and defense lawyers know they are dealing with a worthy adversary. He is highly skilled at conducting the thorough investigation needed to get a case ready for trial and he has never been afraid to walk into a courtroom and ask a jury to decide what is fair. Rich is dedicated to making his clients feel comfortable as he guides them through the legal maze. He and his staff are always available to talk or meet with clients to answer questions and address concerns.

Rich is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Colorado where he has successfully litigated thousands of injury cases and civil rights claims in state and federal court. He is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the National Police Accountability Project.

Rich keeps his litigation skills sharp by working at his craft day in and day out, and by consulting with top experts in the fields of medicine, engineering, police procedures, and trial presentation. He regularly participates in training sessions and seminars to remain on the cutting edge of proven trial tactics and strategies. In his free time, Rich enjoys married life with his wife and two children. When not in the office, the courtroom, or at home, he can be found hiking, running, or walking his dogs.
